Desert Hills is only about a mile up Brigham Road from I-15 and the Bloomington Courtyard shopping area. In the vicinity is a Walmart, two gas stations, restaurants, two hotels, and a variety of other small businesses.
Desert Hills is also within a mile of the Fort Pierce Industrial Park, which is a growing industrial area along River Road. It is where the Sunroc Building Materials headquarters and a Family Dollar Distribution Center are located.
Below the Desert Hills community, there is an LDS Church and an Ivory Homes building and office suites.
Recreation & Entertainment
In addition to hiking and nearby mountain biking trails, Desert Hills also afford access to the city's river trail system that stretches across much of St. George along the Virgin River and Santa Clara River. The St. George Golf Club, a municipal course, is less than two miles away, as is the Bloomington Country Club.
Being only a few minutes up the road from I-15, Desert Hills provides great access to all the area has to offer including the excellent entertainment and dining options in St. George and area parks. Snow Canyon State Park is only 20 minutes a way and Zion National Park is less than an hour's drive.
